Hear from Massey Hall and Roy Thomson Hall’s Director of Production, Doug McKendrick, in this interactive workshop as he recounts his personal journey through the arts world, and the complex and always challenging world of producing at a renowned arts venue.

Purpose-Rooted Marketing & Branding – Sun, Voice of Purpose
In this workshop, Sun, Artist Educator and Director of Voice of Purpose, will explore the tools every artist needs to ground in their true inner purpose and communicate it to their audience, colleagues, and perspective employers. How can you reflect your personal values and purpose in your message and the art you create?

Evening Performance: Buddy Guy
The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, Kennedy Center Honoree, Presidential National Medal of Arts recipient, eight-time Grammy Award-winner – including a 2015 Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award – and pioneer of Chicago’s fabled West Side sound continues to thrill audiences with his live concerts and latest release, The Blues Is Alive and Well. At 83 years young, the legendary performer is doing exactly as the title implies. The album showcases his raw and unadulterated sound, which you can be sure to hear live at Roy Thomson Hall.
